Author Erich Fromm (1900-1980) published this remarkable book in 1956, he was a German-American psychoanalyst. He endorsed psychoanalysis as an instrument for addressing humanistic psychological problems and aimed to raise awareness about mental illness. He was born in Frankfurt and received his education in Heidelberg and Munich before starting a private psychotherapy practice in 1925….
